The Leadership Team of the Christian Ambulance Association recognise the need to provide a safe and caring environment for the adults we work alongside and any young people and children who have contact with the organisation.

Any safeguarding concerns involving the Christian Ambulance Association should be reported to:

In the absence of the Safeguarding Co-ordinator or, if the suspicions in any way involve the Safeguarding Co-ordinator, then the report should be made to:

If the suspicions implicate both the Safeguarding Co-ordinator and the Deputy then please contact the police or local social services.

The Leadership Team have adopted the procedures set out in our safeguarding policy in accordance with statutory guidance. We remain committed to building constructive links with statutory and voluntary agencies involved in safeguarding. The policy applies to all adults working for, with or on behalf of the Christian Ambulance Association including trustees, volunteers, staff and members.

The policy and any attached practice guidelines are based on the ten ‘Safe and Secure’ safeguarding standards published by the charity thirtyone:eight.
